Fire Safety at Tongle Kindergarten
Safety is the top priority of school work, in order to further strengthen teachers and children's knowledge of fire prevention. Tong Le International Bilingual Kindergarten (Kun Zeyuan) launched a safety exercise throughout the park. Now let's have a look.
Teachers in all classes explain to children the knowledge of fire escape, so that children understand the correct way to escape in the fire.
Around 10:30, an emergency alarm sounded. Teachers in all classes quickly led the children to pick up wet towels, cover their mouths and noses, bend down and walk quickly and orderly downstairs according to the evacuation route of the emergency plan.
Fire officer summary
After about 3 minutes, the children have already reached the outdoor safety area. The fire officer summarized the fire drill for all the children in the kindergarten. He asked them some questions about fire safety knowledge on the spot. Our children have a very high awareness of fire safety; they can remember fire safety knowledge firmly.
After the drill, we invited the fire officer to organize a theoretical training session for the teachers. Taking into account the fire prevention characteristics of the kindergarten, he explained aspects such as the classification of fires, fire prevention, how to call for help once a fire occurs, how to guide students to evacuate correctly, and general fire safety awareness in a combination of teaching and demonstration.
Through this drill, the faculty and staff's calmness and composure during sudden fires have been improved, contributing to the creation of a safe fire environment and ensuring a constant state of vigilance. At the same time, the kindergarten has also integrated safety education into daily teaching activities. Safety education will continue to take precedence, creating an environment that prioritizes the safety, health, and joyful growth of the children.
